$50 Tree Planting Grants Now Available for Oregon Teachers In 2008, Oregon Arbor Week is April 6-12. To kick off Oregon’s annual Arbor Week celebrations and to support community tree planting with Oregon school children in the month of April, the Oregon Association of Nurseries, Oregon Department of Forestry in cooperation with USDA Forest Service, Oregon Community Trees and the World Forestry Center have teamed up for the first time to offer $50 grants for Oregon teachers to purchase and plant trees on their school grounds and in local communities.
